Horse gram java / Liquid

Ingredients:

Ulavalu  powder    or Ulavalu   -         1 - 2 tbls
Cumin seeds (jeelakara) - 1 tbls
Salt    -   As per taste

Preparation:

Take a bowl, add 250ml water into it.
Boil it. Now take ulava powder in a cup and make it into fine paste by adding water.
Add cumin seeds in the boiling water and ulava paste after a minute.
Stir it well for 10 - 15 minutes. 
Finally add salt to the mixture and serve hot.
You can filter the water into a glass and drink.
Its good to eat the filtered waste too.

Ground nut chikki with Jaggery(Bellam in telugu)

Ingredients:

Ground nut   :     1/2 kg
Jaggery         :    1/2 kg
Water           :     1/2 cup

Preparation:

  • Fry ground nuts in a pan/kadai till it turns red.
  • Make it cool down and remove the waste and keep it aside.
  • Now take another pan and add graded Jaggery and water.
  • Make the stove in a slow flame and boil it.
  • Take a bowl with water. This water helps to check the thickness of liquid often.
  • Add the jaggery liquid in water, it should get a ball shape.
  • Soon add the ground nuts in the jaggery liquid and mix it.
  • Take a plate, add ghee and apply thoroughly. 
  • Now pour the jaggery mixture into the plate.
  • Healthy groundnut chikki ready to eat.
Benefits of eating groundnut chikki:
This helps in improvement of blood in body.
Taking  20 grm of chikki a day helps improve blood and reduces anaemia.
Blood improves within a month. Just check and comment.
Dont use sugar chikki, it will not cure anaemia.

Mushroom Dosa



Ingredients:


Mushrooms                       -              100 grm
Eggs                                  -              4 Nos
Salt                                    -              Taste
Pepper                               -              Taste

Preparation:


  • Take mushrooms, clean and make it into small pieces.
  • Now take eggs and separate white and yellow yolk.
  • Mix the yolk thoroughly.
  • Now add salt, pepper and mushrooms in the yolk.
  • Heat the pan and spread the yolk mixture like dosa.
  • Heat this dosa till red. And serve hot. Yummy mushroom dosa ready to eat.
  • Healthy dish ready to eat.

Boondi laddu

Ingredients:


Besan                                    -              500 grm
Sugar                                     -              750 grm
Oil                                           -              deep fry

Preparation:


Keep the oil for deep fry. Take a pan, add water and sugar and boil it till it attains teega pakam (When taken between two fingers it should form thread). Now in another bowl add besan and mix this mixture with hot water. The besan should be in liquid state. Add cardamom and yellow color (not mandatory) one crystal of salt and mix it. Now add this besan liquid in a droplet plate on the hot oil. Make this fry 3/4, it should be soft and remove it from the oil and dip this boondi in the sugar pakam. Make this stay till it is cooled down. Now make this mixture into round shape balls called laddu.
Now the famous bundi laddu is ready to eat. Stored for 15 days.

Jaggery(Bellam) Ponganalu(Sweet ponganalu)

Ingredients:


Maida                                   -              1 cup
Jaggery                                 -              3/4 cup
Graded coconut                    -              1 tbls
Elachi (cardamom)
Baking soda
Ghee               
                     

Preparation:


Mix jiggery and maida by adding water in a bowl. Keep it aside for one hour. Now add cardamom, baking soda and mix again. Take a pan add ghee 1- 2 tbls, when hot add the maida mixture, evenly apply graded coconut and badham on the mixture. Fry it by closing the pan. Fry this red hot and serve.
Traditional sweet bellam ponganalu is ready to eat.

Majjiga(Salt lassi) ponganalu(Spicy ponganalu)

Ingredients:


Green chilli paste             -              2 tbls
Onion                                    -              1 nos
Turmeric                              -              ¼ tbls
Soar salt lassi                      -              1 cup
Rice                                        -              1 cup
Fenugreek seeds             -              1 tbls
Soaked chana dal, baking soda      
            

Preparation:


Soak fenugreek seeds and rice overnight and grind. Now take this mixture in a bowl add green chilli paste, onion, turmeric, chana dal, lassi, baking soda. You can also add curry leaves and coriander leaves for taste. Now mix this and in a ponganalu kadai when hot add oil and mixture and close it cook it in small flame. If u find one side is cooked turn them to the other side and cook. Now take this into a serving plate and serve hot with sugar, chutney, karam podi and more.

Special Spicey hot milk(Pala vukkiri)

Ingredients:


Garlic                     -              2 pieces
Cumin seeds      -              ½ tbls
Green chilli         -              2 nos
Salt
Red chilli powder
Ginger garlic paste           -              1 tbls
Poppy seeds paste          -              1 tbls
Boiled milk                          -              ½ lit
Onion milk                          -              ¼ cup

Preparation:


Take a pan, add oil. When hot add garlic, cumin seeds, onion, green chilli and salt. Fry the ingredients and add ginger garlic paste, onion milk, red chilli powder and milk and cook for 10 minutes and serve hot.
