Ingredients:
Maida - 1 cup
Jaggery - 3/4 cup
Graded coconut - 1 tbls
Elachi (cardamom)
Baking soda
Ghee
Preparation:
Mix jiggery and maida by adding water in a bowl. Keep it
aside for one hour. Now add cardamom, baking soda and mix again. Take a pan add
ghee 1- 2 tbls, when hot add the maida mixture, evenly apply graded coconut and
badham on the mixture. Fry it by closing the pan. Fry this red hot and serve.
Traditional sweet bellam ponganalu is ready to eat.
