Mango sweet with curd (Mango Srikand)

Ingredients:


Curd                                      -              1 cup
Sugar                                     -              ½ cup
Mango paste                     -              1 cup

Preparation:

 

Take a cloth, add curd and hang it for one hour to remove water completely in the curd.
Take this curd in a bowl add sugar and mix it thoroughly (see no balls form in the curd). Now add mango paste to this mixture and serve great. Use Badham or any dry fruit for garnish.

Sweet Seasonal dish and Good for health.

Mango idli pulihora

Ingredients:


Wheat rava                         -              3 cups
Urad dal                               -              1 cup    
Green chilli                         -              5 nos
Graded mango                  -              1 cup
Graded Carrot                   -              1 Nos
Red chilli powder             -              ½ tbls
Salt                                         -              Taste
Turmaric                              -              Pinch
Red chilli                              -              2 Nos
Curry leaves                       -             
Oil                                           -              2 – 3 tbls
Fried kaju                            -              5 Nos
Chana dal                            -              ¼ tbls
Mustard seeds                  -              ¼ tbls
Cumin seeds                      -              ¼ tbls

Preparation:


Soak urad dal for one hour and grind it into a fine paste. Add wheat rava to this and mix it. Keep this for 3 hours.
Add this paste into the idli plates and make them cook in the idli cooker under vapour. The idli will be ready by 5 minutes. Now off the stove and remove idli from the plates, mash them and keep it aside.
Now take a pan add oil to it, when hot add chana dal, urad dal, red chilli, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and turmeric. When chit-phat add curry leaves, coriander leaves, Onion, green chilli and fry it. Now add graded carrot and mango and fry by mixing it. Now add salt and red chilli powder and after a minute add the mashed idli and mix it thoroughly. In another pan fry kaju and add it in the idli mixture and serve hot. Mango idli pulihora a Delicious healthy seasonal food is ready to serve.

Jaggery Mango Pickle (Mango Special) Bellam avakaya

Ingredients:


Jaggery                                 -              ¼ Kg
Mangos                                                -              3 Nos
Red Chilli Powder             -              ¼ Kg
Salt                                         -              ¼ Kg
Mustard powder              -              ¼ Kg
Ferugreek                           -              2 tbls
Turmaric                              -              ¼ tbls
Sesame Oil                          -              ½ liter

Preparation:


Slightly fry the fenugreek in a pan and make it into a fine powder.
Cut the mangos into small or medium size pieces and keep this aside.
Mix mustard powder, red chilli powder, salt, fenugreek powder and turmeric in a bowl.
Now add mango pieces and graded jaggery in the mixture and mix thoroughly.
Now make this mango pieces dry for 2 – 3 days.
Boil sesame oil and mix it into the mango pieces.
Serve great.

Mango Pickle with Mustard Powder

Ingredients:


Mango pieces    -    1 cup
Salt        -    1 cup
Red chilli powder    -    1 cup
Turmaric, Mustard powder, Inguva, oil.

Preparation:


Soak the mango pieces in salt for 2 days. Mix the pieces once in a day. Now add Mustard powder, turmaric, red chillli powder, inguva, oil in it. Mix it and serve great.

Pesaru(Moong Dal in English) Avakaya

Ingredients:

 

Moong Dal        -    1 Cup
Oil            -    1 Lit
Salt            -    1 Cup
Chilli Powder        -    1 Cup
Mustard Powder    -    2 tbls
Mango    (Sliced to pieces)-    3 nos
Turmaric        -    Pinch
Inguva ( Not Optional)    -    Pinch
Red chilli, Mustard seeds, Cumin seeds, Garlic Cloves.

Preparation:

 

Slightly fry the Moong dal in a pan and grind it into fine powder.
Take a bowl add Chilli powder, salt, mustard powder, Mango pieces, oil into it. Now mix the ingredients.
Take a pan add oil to it, when hot add red chilli, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and garlic cloves to it and fry. Add this mixture into the bowl and serve great.

Mango

Season Fruit, King of all fruits.
High in calories.
