Ingredients:
Cumin
Coriander seeds
Dried coconut
Red chilli - 5 Nos
Turmaric - one pinch
Tamarind
Jaggery
Coriander leaves
Garlic
Curry leaves
Preparation:
Take a pan and fry cumin, coriander seeds, coconut and
red chilli one after the other and make it into a fine powder.
Now take a pan add two cups of tamarind water, salt, 3
tbls of the prepared powder, turmeric, jaggery and coriander leaves into it and
make it boil for ½ hour in a small flame.
Now in another pan add oil and when hot add popu dinusulu
and pour it in the above rasam.
Now serve hot the cumin rasam.
Combination dishes.
Rice, Roti, Dosa, Idly.
