Black eyed peas bakshalu (Alasandala bakshalu)



Ingredients:


Wheat Atta                                         -              1 cup
Bombay rava                                      -              2 tbls
Boiled black eyed peas                  -              1 cup
Dates                                                    -              1 cup
Badham and Kaju                             -              2 tbls (fried and powdered)
Elachi                                                     -              ¼ tbls
Salt                                                         -              As per taste

Preparation:


Take wheat atta, Bombay rava and salt in a dish and mix it by adding water to prepare dough.
In a mixer add black eyed peas and dates and grind it small pieces. Take this in a bowl and add Badham and kaju powder along with elachi, mix the ingredients and make it into small balls and keep it aside.
Now stuff the small balls in the prepared dough and press it like roti. Now fry the rotis in a hot pan on both sides. See it attains red color. Now take this in a serving plate and serve hot.
