Poha

Low Calorie Food
Preparation Time - 10 -15 minutes 

Ingredients:

Poha  - 2 cups
Onion - 2 (Chopped)
Green Chilli - 4 (Sliced)
Mustard seeds
Cumin seeds
Red chilli
Curry leaves
Coriander Leaves 
Oil
 

Directions:

 

  • Take a bowl add water to it. Now add poha in the water and wait for 2 minutes or just wait still it becomes softer.
  • Remove the poha from the water and squeeze the water out from poha and keep this aside.
  • Now take a pan add oil to it. When hot add Red Chilli, Cumin seeds, Mustard Seeds, Curry Leaves to it. Make this fry for 1 minute in slow flame.
  • Now add Green chilli slices and Onions to this. Make this fry till red.
  • Add a pinch of turmaric, salt, Chilli Powder(if required for taste).
  • Now add poha to this and mix this well and make it cook for two minutes till red.
  • Take this in a serving bowl, garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Now see Low Calorie Food Poha is ready for your breakfast or dinner. This is also low oil food.
Note : It is better to use Coconut Oil in foods. The reason is that Coconut Oil reduces weight which is good for health.
